My stepmother, brother, who is 87, lives with us. Sometimes our obligations require us to work for several hours. I wonder what he used, it would be a life-line emergency - something like "Hanging" could. Is there anything better? Some may recognize a problem - for example, a case, etc. - take no action?
It has 99% of their marbles ... but just in case!

the best system is where you will be your home to be safe. have products such as carpets or furniture as they may stumble curious. To the cable stretching in the aisles or prevent many items connected to an electrical outlet. without taking threshold, which arises shower is very useful, too. Make sure there is a telephone in every room of your house, or as someone else said to carry a bag or a belt around the phone where the person is a good idea. Call your doctor and the doctor can be an occupational therapist to go with them to ensure that your environment is safe.
