Please help! What does ISIS stand for or mean? - quest mountain bike

My husband has been some mountain biking and it is now. He spent some time at the local bike shop and online try the "best" things of this bike. His latest quest is to discover what this thing all supporting ISIS. If anyone can help me, it would be great, or it could take me to a wall with it.

ISIS refers to the type of interface in bars splined shaft interface. Several versions of the best ports either with Shimano Octalink or ISIS. FifteenG structure is configured so that a tapered polygon-use interface will be super difficult, but we'll see.

The interface is not as important hub for performance and cranks as things such as weight, durability of the pedals and, depending on driving style, bashguard Kettenführung Mines and compatibility. With today manufacturing technology, it is rare that even the old style square tapered interfaces brought before someone buys a new pedal or ... a series of heavy cranks, pedals, or weakness can affect performance and what it is until you change it.

Speak with your husband www.pinkbike.com check, and he is anxious to many other bikers who have found an outlet for his new passion, and to save you hear over and over again, lol. The forums here are very, if you've spent 13 years in order,-olJabber DS 'Jibber ...
