Dvd Recorders Watch One Channel Record Another Just Bought A Dvd Recorder. How Do I Hook It Up To My Cable Box To Watch One Channel, Record Another?

Just bought a dvd recorder. How do I hook it up to my cable box to watch one channel, record another? - dvd recorders watch one channel record another

I have a cable box, VCR and DVD recorder / DVR. How can all of them together on one channel, record another to see? Please use simple words because I have no idea some of the terms of the manual calls. Thank you!

The answer depends on several factors not mentioned. If the cable audio output jacks red yellow and black and has video, the solution is simple: Put a 2-way splitter on the cable from the wall (it would be attached to the back of the cable box.). Run a coaxial cable splitter cable to the cable box and another cable from the splitter to the antenna or cable to the back of the DVD / DVR. Then, use a cable set red, white and yellow audio and video, and connect one end of the yellow video output on the cable and the other end of the video in yellow on your DVR, DVD. Then run the red and white cables in the same way, red with red and white to white. This allows you to record all the channels encrypted cable, select the channel you want to burn to DVDs with DVR tuner and capture all the cable channels encrypted, with the cable connection to your DVR? DVD. I can not fully answer your questions when I know that all the connections you have. Please send a message to cleartv1@yahoo.com

First, take a look in your manual and see if it says you have a dual-band DVR. If you do, you can record a connection to your cable box and a program while another at the same time, without multiple devices to use. Mine allows you to record two programs simultaneously while one third, which greatly simplifies things, reduces the number of remote controls that it dead in the room.

You must create a connection from your cable box to your DVR, and another connection to your cable box to the VCR. Both the VCR and DVR will then be connected to the TV.

If you have a dual-band DVR is used as the main device for TV display is not necessarily multiple remotes, unless you see or record a tape into the VCR like. You should manage to set the option to change channels and volume on your TV via your digital video, and create and all of your recordings.

If the manual does not say that your DVR Dual-Band is a unique group. In this case, you need multiple remotes to switch between TV and record TV. (Setup from your cable box is the same.) If the DVR is recording a program and would like to see a different program, do it on the VCR.

Enjoy your new DVR! I can not imagine watching TV without now.

Cable goes into the DVR, the DVR to the TV. Select the channel you want to record using the remote with the "DVR" from the remote control to move the switch on the DVR, then click Start to start the recording, then you can go on television on the DVR remote to choose You then see the desired channel. The video must be in a different input on your TV.

It depends. Would you record a channel, the base is not part of the cable service? If so, you must connect the cable directly into the DVD recorder, set the VCR to channel 3 and the cable box on the reception channel.

To watch one channel and another non-core program, you need two cable boxes, some dividers and a switch.

I need more information to give a complete answer.
